Sonoco’s roots can be traced to the Southern Novelty Company, which was founded in Hartsville, South Carolina, on May 10, 1899. Since then, they continued growing into a globally active company, and have been active in both private and the industrial packaging market. The production of the packaging materials is partly intended for the GMP related market such as medicines and medical devices.
At the injection molding company Sonoco in Berkel Rodenrijs, we have built an approximately 400 m² big GMP-C cleanroom and carried out renovation work in the existing White Room. A new distribution center has also been realized for the PE and PP plastic raw materials. We have recently successfully completed this complete assignment.
Brecon Cleanroom Systems B.V. acted as main contractor for PP4C Partners. Kuijpers PHF Services responsible for the E&W installation, Bolidt Kunststoftoepassing B.V. producer and applicator of the EP trowel floor, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems supplier of the speed doors and WERO has taken care of the validation cleaning. Brecon Clean Furniture has supplied and installed the interior of the personal air lock area. The work was completed successfully and without major problems. Again a beautifully integrated PP4C project!
